American Express Global Business Travel (AmexGBT) is seeking a Product Manager to support the growth and evolution of our Data Services Team. In this role, you will balance product delivery and integrations whilst identifying opportunities to innovate processes and enhance user experience. You would become a subject matter expert across the product portfolio and provide key support to external customers and vendors, as well as internal teams and support functions.
What You’ll Do- Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, balancing long term and short-term initiatives with strategic and commercial needs.
- Lead and manage team performance, track KPIs, provide coaching and a point for escalations.
- Provide consultative support to prospect customers in relation to the travel data feeds portfolio.
- Lead integration projects for new customers and vendors from requirements gathering to deployment with focus on customisation.
- Partner with business unit customers, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Maintain the highest standards of data security in line with company information security and risk management policies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive product and process documentation.
- Maintain strong relationship with stakeholders, vendors, and operational support teams to drive efficient issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement initiatives and lead change management.
- Define and supervise performance metrics for products.
- 5 years+ travel technology product management delivering global product offerings.
- 3 years+ client-facing experience.
- Familiarity with travel data and data delivery methods (such as API, flat files).
- Proven track record of leading teams, driving engagement and encouraging high performance.
- Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle management and Agile project management.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong relationship management skills at all organizational levels and across multi-channel solutions.
- Clear and concise communication skills, English fluency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interrogate large data sets and capacity to coordinate issue resolution across multiple teams and platforms.
- Strong drive to innovate and automate legacy processes using cutting-edge technology, including AI, to improve user experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambitious environment with global stakeholders.
- Required to work a minimum of 3 days in office location, Manchester UK.
