This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance-minded professional with a passion for brand integrity and process excellence to make a meaningful impact on our organization's governance framework.
In this role, you'll be the backbone of our compliance audit operations—managing our audit framework, executing annual audits of sub-licensing partners, and ensuring adherence to our Trade License Agreement with American Express. You'll work at the intersection of brand governance, legal compliance, and operational excellence, partnering closely with legal teams and senior leadership to identify risks, drive process improvements, and pilot innovative AI automation solutions.
This is a role for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys solving complex problems, and is excited about leveraging technology to scale compliance processes. You'll see the direct impact of your work through completed audits, reduced cycle times, and strengthened risk management across our partner ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Execute and document annual compliance audits of sub-licensing partners under our Trade License Agreement, ensuring thorough findings and clear audit reports.
- Analyze audit findings and identify legal risks, collaborating with legal teams to assess implications and support remediation tracking.
- Develop and maintain compliance dashboards and scorecards that track audit results, compliance metrics, and key risk indicators for leadership reporting.
- Identify process inefficiencies and pilot AI automation solutions to scale manual review processes while maintaining accuracy and reducing audit cycle time.
- Extract, cleanse, and model data from multiple sources to support accurate compliance reporting and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct compliance reviews for business units, providing actionable feedback on brand, trademark, and regulatory alignment.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years of professional experience in compliance, auditing, brand governance, marketing operations, analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in data querying, cleansing, modeling, and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to identify inconsistencies, compliance gaps, and potential legal risks.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex compliance data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines.
- Can effectively work across functions, including with legal, marketing, and senior leadership teams.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks, auditing processes, or regulatory review environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in brand governance, compliance reporting, audit frameworks, or marketing operations.
- Experience managing sub-licensing partner relationships or partner compliance programs is preferred.
- Proficiency with project management and workflow tools (e.g., Workfront, Asana, or similar platforms).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization) or other data analysis tools.
- Exposure to process automation, AI automation, or workflow optimization initiatives.
- Understanding of trademark, brand management, or marketing regulatory requirements.
- Agile mindset with flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities and emerging compliance needs.
Who You Are
- Detail-oriented: You catch what others miss and take pride in accuracy and thoroughness.
- Analytically driven: You love working with data and using insights to drive decisions and improvements.
- Collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional environments and build strong working relationships with colleagues across teams.
- Process-minded: You see opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Growth-oriented: You're excited about learning new tools, technologies, and compliance best practices.
- Proactive: You anticipate challenges, ask clarifying questions, and take ownership of your work.
What We Offer
- Opportunity to build and shape a compliance audit framework from the ground up.
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI automation and process optimization initiatives.
- Close collaboration with senior leadership and legal teams on strategic compliance matters.
- Clear career progression into brand governance, compliance management, or risk management roles.
- A supportive team environment that values continuous learning and professional development.
