Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing communications for Professional Services and own the go-to-market marketing strategy to deliver robust, strategic marketing campaigns for our Amex GBT Consulting business, efficiently and on time.
  • Partner with the consulting team to own the consulting value proposition messaging and align it to the Amex GBT value proposition and brand positioning.
  • Establish go-to-market activities aligned across the larger marketing communications and commercial teams.
  • Build a strong rapport with our commercial partners, particularly the Amex GBT Consulting team sitting in the Professional Services function.
  • Work with extended teams and collaborators including GMN and small, medium, and enterprise (SME) sales, sales enablement, marketing operations, content development, and digital marketing teams on the overall end-to-end experience for key client accounts.
  • Work with Amex GBT Consulting commercial partners to define critical metrics that measure overall success; collaborate with operations and analytics teams to create reports; communicate results to partners; identify clear opportunities for improvement.
  • Govern all activity within your team, working closely with the Amex GBT General Counsel's Office to ensure compliance with all appropriate standards.

Key Requirements

  • Significant marketing experience delivering global strategic marketing campaigns for large enterprise organizations.
  • Able to write basic marketing content within brand guidelines.
  • Ability to distil complex ideals into easy-to-understand customer facing stories.
  • Experience in creating and executing internal and external presentations (basic PPT skills needed).
  • Strong experience working in the B2B space.
  • Good social media and verbal/written communication skills with an ability to translate thought leadership content into bite size content.
  • Experience leading marketing for a consulting business or similar practice.
  • Open-minded, strategic, excitement to try new tactics, and perseverance to see projects to completion.
  • Able to lead and operate effectively through periods of significant change.
  • Proven experience of delivering results in highly commercial environment.
  • International experience working with remote teams and time zones is a plus.
