Job Description: The Air and Ground Optimization Team ensures preferred suppliers who provide us with the best content receive foremost support by deploying technology and tools to highlight the key attributes and benefits of these products. As a result, our premium client base would continue to grow, and we would create a virtuous circle driving value for both our preferred suppliers and our customers. What We’re Looking For: Create strategies based on an analytical, data-driven mentality but also feel comfortable in driving that into hands-on implementation. A strong understanding of air and non-air content distribution, online retailing, channel management, and travel economics would be a plus. Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing people at all levels of the organization or at partner organizations, setting common goals and delivering according to plans. Feel comfortable using Excel databases and analyzing data sets. Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluency in English, and strong presentation skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills, able to handle multiple projects with different deliverables simultaneously, with attention to detail and the ability to deliver within deadlines, highlighting issues and suggested solutions on time. Preference for EMEA-based candidates; US candidates are also considered. What You’ll Do: Influence key stakeholders within Amex GBT and partner organizations to inspire change and results. Work with various teams to deploy strategies, track results, and take corrective actions where necessary. Set up tracking to gain insights into results and identify opportunities for further optimization. Balance technology solutions versus investment and revenue with a commercial attitude and innovative mindset.
