Our country HR partners are the heart and soul of our HR team, working with colleagues to provide a positive work environment throughout all stages of their journey with us.
What you’ll do:
- Provide advice, support, and consultation on broad ranging employee matters, and guidance around administration and interpretation of policies and employment issues.
- Investigate colleague complaints and concerns; obtain relevant documentation and data via interviews; provide advice and take necessary steps to resolve on behalf of GBT.
- Advise, guide and resolve cases, with an aim to always provide a positive work environment for all colleagues.
- Partner with leaders to deliver training on best practice, strategies for managing problems, and responding to colleague grievances.
- Support analysis of casework trends, survey results, escalations, and complaints to determine areas of opportunity to improve work environment and culture.
- Support end-to-end people processes through developing and maintaining a positive, value add relationship with business leaders and HR colleagues.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in HR, ideally with exposure to employee relations. In lieu of experience, you’ll have a degree in Human Resources, or CIPD (level 3).
- Absolute attention to detail. I’s dotted, T’s crossed; you focus on producing work to the highest standards.
- You’re a self-starter with a growth mindset. You thrive in fast-paced, engaging environments.
- Outstanding communication skills. You listen actively, advise kindly, speak with authority when needed, and write clearly and consistently.
- Cool, calm and collected: you are tactful, quick thinking, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
- Natural intellectual curiosity and a passion for your own learning and development; enhancing current skills and nurturing new ones to positively impact the work you do, and the people you partner with.
