About The Role

LOCATION: Leeds

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in Leeds on our Dyecoats £100 Million project, we require concrete frame experience, ideally with high-rise and slipform expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveying and setting out duties and proficient in using Robotic Total Stations.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and quantities and raise TQ’s accordingly.
  • Schedule materials for procurement.
  • Plan and organise site operations to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with consultants and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and monitor site labour and subcontractors.
  • Mentor trainee engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Maintain quality records.
  • Resolve technical difficulties and unexpected issues.
  • Arrange and conduct material testing.
  • Keep a detailed Site Diary.
  • Collaborate with the construction site team.
  • Innovate and introduce improvements.

Essential Technical Competencies:

  • Proven experience in a Site Engineer role.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Must have concrete frame experience, ideally with high-rise/slipform expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full driving license.
  • Proficient in using FieldView/AutoDesk Build etc. for recording QA.
