We are seeking to appoint a motivated Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science, biological science, cell biology, pharmacology or a similar subject to join our growing Pharmacy team within the School of Health and Care Sciences, part of the College of Health and Science. Our pharmacy provision is expanding and includes successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes such as the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Independent Prescribing, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

As a Senior Lecturer In Pharmacy, You Will
- Contribute to the leadership, design, development, and delivery of courses and/or modules, across the portfolio, in particular the MPharm.
- Engage in interdisciplinary curriculum development within the School and wider College.
- Support students academically and pastorally, acting as a personal tutor and project supervisor.
- Participate in scholarly activity, professional practice, or pedagogical development aligned to the School\’s ambitions.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to enhance the educational experience and student outcomes.
- Engage with external stakeholders and placement providers.
- Identify sources of funding and contribute to the projects of securing funds for your own scholarly activities, where appropriate.
- Develop relevant bids and tenders to enhance programmes and modules.
Depending on your background, this role offers scope to develop a strong academic profile in pharmacy education, programme leadership or professional practice, including working closely with professional bodies, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
