It's an exciting time to join our dynamic and forward-looking institution. This position is an integral part of the Campus Operations Team and the successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of facilities staff responsible for delivering a wide range of essential services, including security, cleaning, postal, porter, waste disposal and pest control.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of robust security strategies, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
- Management of contracts and service providers for multiple facilities services.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
- Monitoring budgets, optimising resources, and delivering cost-effective solutions.
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation in facilities management practices.
We are seeking a Senior Facilities Security Manager who has extensive experience in security management, including operational processes, risk mitigation, and incident response. You will have proven leadership skills with experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and strong knowledge of facilities management best practices and statutory compliance. You will also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
