The role will serve as a lead for assigned Human Resources initiatives and activities (i.e. in-house Occupational Health processes, HR life cycle processes etc.). In accordance with established policies, procedures and standards, and under the direction of a Human Resources leader, actively manages assigned Human Resources activities to ensure compliance, completion and ongoing monitoring. This will necessitate changes to the role of the Human Resources Coordinator as new systems and programs are rolled out.
What You Will Do:
- Lead for assigned Human Resources initiatives and activities (i.e. in-house Occupational Health processes, HR life cycle processes etc.).
- Maintain a live activity plan, identify problem areas or processes for improvement and escalate challenges and delays to HR leadership as required.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and communications, ensure stakeholders are informed of key activities and milestones.
- Plan projects well in advance, work with stakeholders to ensure availability of geographically dispersed teams.
- Develop and manage communication plans and materials (FAQs etc.) for internal client groups.
- Work collaboratively with Human Resources teams to facilitate the roll out of initiatives/processes/projects in a way which positively impacts the business and adheres to regional regulations, policies and norms.
- Work with managers to ensure that all Human Resources related policies and procedures are adhered to, interpreted and complied with in a consistent manner.
- Deliver training on subject matter expertise area to HR teams, managers and employees.
- Perform administrative duties as needed to maintain and update processes/databases/systems/employee records etc., ensuring compliance with data protection, confidentiality and applicable legislation at all times.
- Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for peak performance in all assigned responsibilities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Total Quality Management and the process of continuous improvement.
- Perform other tasks and participate in projects and initiatives as reasonably directed by Human Resources leadership.
What You Will Need:
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Experience facilitating occupational testing.
- Experience of working in a HR function, ideally with experience in assigned project subject matter.

- Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with varied audiences, and present complex issues clearly and succinctly in a manner which is engaging, professional and appropriate to specific audience requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build strong relationships with employees, managers and external partners and positively influence opinions and activity for the benefit of the company.
- Strong organizational ability, accuracy and attention to detail, able to work at pace, multi-task and flex as needed to meet deadlines, handle complicated tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Must be fluent in English and ideally a second European language.
- Proactive and solutions orientated with demonstrable experience of delivering consistently high service levels.
- Ability to receive direction and carry out assignments from HR and business management.
- Commitment to continuous learning and able to maintain awareness of regulatory and industry trends.
- Ability to become familiar with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to senior HR roles (HRBP / Manager / Director) and does not have direct reports.
