As an Internal Auditor (m/f/d), you will perform financial and operational audits across our European locations and make a key contribution to compliance and continuous improvement. You will evaluate risks, identify optimization opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management. Working closely with various departments, you will support the enhancement of our internal control environment.

Independently plan, execute and document audit engagements throughout the full audit cycle. Review and enhance internal controls (including SOX compliance) to proactively identify risks and ensure transparency. Evaluate business process changes and new risk exposures, providing practical solutions for improvement. Apply data analytics techniques to detect anomalies, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities. Present audit findings to senior management and support follow-up actions. Act as a trusted advisor to drive continuous improvement across the organization. All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Initial experience in internal/external auditing, preferably within public accounting
  • Strong analytical skills paired with proactive communication and solution-oriented thinking
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Europe
  • Excellent command of English; German language skills are a plus
  • CIA, CPA or CA certification and experience with US GAAP financial statements is an advantage
