Dauch is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Three Rivers, Michigan. The HR Generalist provides support to business units in staffing, recruiting, employee counseling, administration, and training. They handle employee relations issues, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing. They also conduct organizational effectiveness assessments and recommend programs to address issues. This person will develop and administer compensation programs; monitoring performance evaluation programs and revising as necessary. This person will make recommendations to senior management on issues concerning employees, recruiting, turnover, or training.
Implements Human Resources programs by including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance, and labor relations, completing personnel transactions. Develops Human Resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action. Improves manager and associate performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and associates.
Completes special Human Resources projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports. Prepares information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Maintains management and associate confidence and protects organization operations by keeping information confidential, cautioning others regarding potential breaches. Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Contributes to Human Resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results. All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 1-3+ years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a union environment.
