Why you'll love this job: The position holder will support the HCC Team Leader in delivering a safe and efficient airport operation. The position holder will be expected to comprehend all areas of flight operations and work flexibly across all functions of the department.
What you'll do:
- Actively promote and influence IOC/Dispatch decisions on IROP flights during night flight watch.
- Participate in nightly IOC briefing calls and provide operational updates and events as required.
- Support the European stations with cancellation notifications and delays during the night shift.
- Ensure an effective operational stand plan is accomplished through HAL/BA planners during the night shift.
- Coordinate crew transportation within the European stations, including delaying pick-ups, assist with deadheading crew movements and station startups/closures.
- Effectively coordinate aircraft arrival sequencing with internal departments and business partners.
- Prepare and deliver Flight Briefing pack to cockpit crews, to include ATC restrictions, fuel uplift, NOTOC and airfield resource notifications.
- Manage ground to cockpit and ATC tower communications and escalate/resolve as appropriate.
- Ensure all ground events are logged and tracked within GET, servicing activities with business partners including but not limited to catering, ramp service, Lav/water/cabin, aircraft fueling, crew transport, crew hotels.
- Escalate late servicing to appropriate business partners and ensure resolution to avoid compromised timelines.
- Monitor APU usage and escalate non-shutoff or lengthy on ground use to maintenance for resolution.
- Coordinate crew transport pick-up and delivery to airfield, recording timings and managing late notifications.
- Actively support and update respective flight Teams channels to ensure timelines are adhered to.
- Primary escalation for business partner servicing concerns and effective resolution.
- Monitor aircraft fueling dashboards and proactively address over fuels/discrepancies.
- Coordinate de-ice requests/sequencing/dashboards with business partners.

- Willingness and ability to successfully complete all relevant training.
- Possession of a valid DVLA driving license; post holder must be willing to apply for a HAL driving license as and when required.
- Show adaptability and have a willingness to change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience of working in an airport environment.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
