About the Opportunity: The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) is a strategic partnership, operating within the DNWP framework and delivering critical decommissioning work at Sellafield, including the UK’s most challenging Legacy Ponds facilities. As a key partner within DNWP, TDA contributes to Sellafield Ltd.’s mission while ensuring communities, supply chains, and stakeholders benefit from meaningful, measurable Social Value outcomes.
The Role: TDA now have an exciting opportunity for a Workstream Lead who will be required to oversee Senior Project Managers and Project Managers required to deliver the high profile and critical scope of SHOP in legacy ponds. As a Workstream Lead some of your responsibilities could include:
- Planning, directing and co-ordinating the team's activities to manage and implement projects and/or interrelated projects from initiation to final closure.
- Controls project requirements, scope and change management issues (including approval of contract variations and early warnings within appropriate levels of authority), both with the client and supply chain.
- Working closely with the Strategic Projects Commercial manager to do so.
- Determine and monitor and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk.
- Undertake status review meetings among project teams that form the workstream under their oversight.
- Advises the Head of Strategic Projects on matters of escalation, major concerns, risks, and opportunities within the workstream.
As a Workstream Lead, you will already have:
- Bachelor's degree in applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline required.
- Experience of delivering high profile, critical and interrelated projects.
- Ability to lead and direct complex team structures.
- Able to develop relationships with stakeholders in upper management positions and client organisations.
