We are currently looking for a Principal Civil, Structural & Architectural Designer position to join the team based in Whitehaven. You will provide CS&A Technical support to the delivery of the Analytical Services Portfolio, inclusive of multi-discipline design activities to support the Analytical & Active Area Services. You will be a part of a Civil and Structural team in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering design work packages through concept, preliminary, detailed design and execution support. The Principal Designer shall report to the CS&A Responsible Engineer.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Responsible Engineer by producing technical packages for the Analytical Services Portfolio.
- Create Civil and Structural engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
- Meet project requirements in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols.
- Implement best practice procedure.
Requirements
- HNC or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience in a Designer role.
- Worked in a highly regulated and quality assured system where engineering was a major part of the role.
- Solution focussed.
- Able to work pro-actively as part of a multi-discipline engineering design team.
