About the Opportunity: Nuclear Power Programmes has been formed with the vision to support positive change and help shape the future of Nuclear Power. Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development. To do this, we are seeking to continuously employ talented individuals to join our diverse team that are excited about nuclear projects and are committed to Net Zero and Energy Security.
As Primavera P6 EPPM Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) system. This role ensures the system is optimised for performance, security, and usability, supporting project teams in planning, scheduling, and reporting across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will be:
- System Administration & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Primavera P6 EPPM and associated components (Web Access, Integration APIs, BI Publisher, etc.). Manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions in accordance with company policies. Configure global and project-specific settings including calendars, EPS/WBS structures, activity codes, and UDFs.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to end-users including issue resolution, system errors, and performance tuning. Liaise with Oracle support for escalated issues and patch management. Monitor system health and perform regular backups and recovery testing.
- Data Management & Integration: Ensure data integrity across projects and portfolios. Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems (ERP, document management, reporting tools). Support data migration and interface development using Primavera APIs or middleware.
- Training & Documentation: Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, and training materials. Conduct training sessions for schedulers, planners, and project managers. Promote best practices in schedule management and system usage.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI Publisher, SQL, or third-party tools. Support project controls teams with schedule analysis, earned value metrics, and KPIs.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Oracle Primavera P6 certification.
- Experience with cloud-hosted Primavera environments (Oracle Primavera Cloud).
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms.
- Expertise in Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM (Web and Professional).
- Experience with Oracle databases, WebLogic, and middleware technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and report development.
- Familiarity with integration tools (Primavera Gateway, REST APIs, ETL tools).
- Understanding of project scheduling principles (CPM, resource levelling, baselining).
- Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or energy sectors preferred.
