About the Opportunity: The Group Director provides strategic and operational leadership for the Environmental Solution sub-Division. This includes the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) Account, Nuclear Restoration Services, Nuclear Waste Services, Place Regeneration, and Strategic Non-Nuclear Pursuits. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth. This role oversees operational performance, governance, people development, and market engagement to align with the organisation’s objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Lead the delivery and performance of the business unit, ensuring financial and operational objectives are achieved.
- Strategic Growth: Partner with senior leadership to shape and implement ambitious business growth strategies (organic, partnerships, and M&A).
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong client, partner, and supply-chain relationships; secure new business opportunities and ensure delivery excellence.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure transparent, ethical operations and adherence to corporate governance, risk, and compliance standards.
- Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Promote the highest standards of safety, wellbeing, and ethical responsibility across all operations.
- Financial Management: Deliver strong performance across revenue, margin, cost management, and cash flow to achieve year-on-year NOM growth.
