Opportunity in the Visual Engineering Team: To support the continued growth of our UK business, we currently have an opportunity for a Visualisation Specialist within our Visual Engineering team. The Visual Engineering team develops digital solutions that improve the understanding of complex engineering projects throughout the asset lifecycle. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, we combine engineering data with modern visualisation technologies to support design reviews, stakeholder engagement, construction planning, Human Factors, training and operational readiness.

Using technologies including Unreal Engine, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Digital Twins, BIM, point clouds and bespoke software applications, the team transforms complex engineering information into engaging visual experiences that improve communication, reduce project risk and support informed decision making across a range of industries including Nuclear, Defence, Energy and Infrastructure.

Role Description: The Visualisation Specialist independently delivers engineering visualisation solutions across a variety of projects, working directly with engineers and project teams to translate complex engineering information into clear and engaging digital experiences. You will take ownership of technical delivery for allocated work packages while supporting client engagement, mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the continued development of team standards and capabilities.

  • Delivering engineering visualisation projects independently.
  • Developing engineering animations, simulations and interactive applications.
  • Creating VR, AR and Digital Twin experiences.
  • Working directly with engineers and clients to develop visualisation solutions.
  • Interpreting CAD, BIM, point cloud and engineering data.
  • Supporting project planning and estimating activities.
  • Reviewing work produced by Graduate and Junior team members.
  • Contributing to workflow improvements and innovation.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Essential: Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong commercial experience using Unreal Engine.
  • Advanced Blueprint Visual Scripting.
  • Experience delivering engineering visualisation projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Desired: Human Factors experience.
  • BIM and Digital Twin knowledge.
  • VR and AR application development.
  • Git or Azure DevOps.
  • Basic C++ or Python.
  • Experience supporting project estimates.
