The Opportunity Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.

The Project This is a facility to provide interim storage of SIXEP and SCP secondary waste, with the capability to feed a future waste product management treatment plant (WPMTP). SWMRF has just submitted its Feasibility Stage deliverables which included possible baseline building footprints for three alternative technology options (footprints developed by Mechanical / Process disciplines).

The role We are currently looking for a Technical Clerk to join the team in Birchwood. As a Technical Clerk some of your responsibilities could include:

  • Update and manage existing action trackers
  • Develop action tracking databases/spreadsheets
  • Taking minutes of technical meetings, as well as tracking of actions
  • Manage and update Plant Item List
  • Generate weekly highlight and successes reports

As a Technical Clerk you will already have:

  • Conversant with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc
  • Experience of working in an admin related position, within an Engineering/ Procurement/ Construction (EPC) environment
  • Basic technical and commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
