The Opportunity Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This 20-year arrangement delivers ~£7bn of major projects. We recruit high‑value expertise from regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP delivers major projects, site‑wide improvements and supporting services.

The Project This facility provides interim storage of SIXEP and SCP secondary waste, with capability to feed a future waste product management treatment plant (WPMTP). SWMRF has submitted feasibility stage deliverables, including possible baseline building footprints for three alternative technology options (footprints developed by Mechanical/Process disciplines).

The Role We are looking for a Technical Clerk to join the team in Birchwood.

  • Update and manage existing action trackers
  • Develop action‑tracking databases/spreadsheets
  • Take minutes of technical meetings and track actions
  • Manage and update Plant Item List
  • Generate weekly highlight and success reports

Qualifications

  • Conversant with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
  • Experience in an admin role within an Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) environment
  • Basic technical and commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
