We are looking for Systems Engineers (Engineer/Consultant grades) to join our UK based team; main location is flexible with the majority of work able to be carried out from home, with visits to sites potentially required. You will be joining a small team looking to grow with future business with the client, and will be delivering strategic and technical support to some of the most inspiring/exciting projects and programmes across the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE). This role provides a fantastic career opportunity, whilst developing your skills and experiences under the guidance and mentorship within our central systems engineering team.
We require Systems Engineers who enjoy working with wider Project Teams (including multiple disciplines), and who have a commercial understanding as well as knowledge of MoD processes and procedures. You would be working across a range of different activities at various stages of the systems engineering life cycle.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Development and management of system requirements.
- Design process engineering for hardware, software, and mixed technology systems.
- Systems safety engineering, including the analysis of the systems safety requirements.
- Systems integration.
- Systems performance evaluation and its application to verification and validation.
- Through life environmental impact evaluation of complex systems.
- Systems qualification and acceptance.
- Requirements capture, analysis and management.
Here's What You'll Need:
- UK Nationality with the ability to apply for SC clearance.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a recognised engineering or STEM discipline.
- Experience of Systems Engineering activities in a complex, safety focused and regulated organisation with multiple complex interfaces. Ideally within the UK MoD, AWE, or a similar regulated environment.
- Have a holistic approach to Systems Engineering and general Engineering activities.
- Be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Be delivery focused with an enthusiasm to make a positive difference.
- Demonstrable experience of change management, rapidly adapting to emerging requirements, changing circumstances and high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
