As part of our ongoing growth across our key sectors we are recruiting for a Project Accountant to support our activities on the Litmus Joint Venture. In this role you will administer the Litmus JV account, which will include various formal accounting submissions and the usual financial audit requirements. Ideally you will be familiar with Sage accounting software as that is what is utilised on the project. The role will support hybrid working and can be based from any of our UK office locations in Knutsford, Warrington, Bristol, Gloucester, Newcastle or Glasgow.
Key Accountabilities:
- Proficient in the use of SAGE software
- Ledger experience and VAT return experience
- Familiar with Banking applications
- Experience with financial statements and transactions
- Hands on accounting experience
- Financial forecasting and budgeting experience
- Experience of consolidating data for invoicing and billing
Knowledge & Skills:
- AAT Level 3 / 4 or qualified by experience
- Attention to detail
- Good time management discipline to meet strict reporting and submission deadlines
- Pro-active communicator who can work across organisations & stakeholders
- Comfortable leading across a JV partnership with minimal supervision
- Proactive approach to streamline and improve workflows
