Job Summary

We are currently seeking Principal CS&A Engineers to join our team.

These positions support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK – Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes, and Warrington.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements.
  • Key role holder within the Engineering team on the project.
  • Delivery of the civil, structural, and architectural design.
  • Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
  • Understanding of the commercial implications of products, scope and packages.
  • Delivery of substantiation and other approvals.
  • Risk identification with proposed resolution / mitigation.
  • Production of Schedule and identification of key milestones.
  • Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, BIM etc.).

Requirements

  • Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) subject – MEng (preferred).
  • Appropriate (Engineering or Scientific) Institution Membership – Chartered Engineer.
  • Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery including recent positions influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel.
  • Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles where professional judgement is the key attribute.
