We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our team. You will play a key role in installing, maintaining, repairing, and improving electrical systems across our project division to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems and components in industrial settings (e.g., factories, warehouses, processing plants).
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across control panels and site infrastructure.
- Install, upgrade, and commission electrical systems, including motors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
Here’s What You’ll Need
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
- Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial control systems (advantageous).
- Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).
- CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent.
- 2391 testing & inspection qualification (desirable).
