Nuclear Power Programmes has been formed with the vision to support positive change and help shape the future of Nuclear Power.
Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development.
To do this, we are seeking to continuously employ talented individuals to join our diverse team that are excited about nuclear projects and are committed to Net Zero, and Energy Security.
In both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Summary
To provide project support to the SZC SS&A Directorate working closely with the Heads of Departments and wider team, enabling the effective administration, planning, and organisation of the directorate.
This is a demanding post requiring excellent communication and organisational skills combined with pro-active approach to the diverse workload.
The role requires a high level of tact and integrity due to the sensitive nature and frequency of senior level contacts and regular exposure to confidential commercial data.
The position requires mutual PA cover within the department in order to manage annual leave and short-term absences.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate directorate governance activities, actions, risks, compliance metrics, and reporting.
- Support planning activities, including updates to schedules and maintenance of risk registers.
- Manage procurement and finance administration, including SAP purchase orders and invoice tracking.
- Organise meetings, prepare documentation, take minutes, and track actions to completion.
- Maintain records and document management systems (Share Point, Teamcenter, etc.).
- Support onboarding, training records, vetting, and induction processes for new team members.
- Coordinate communications and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide general administrative and PA support, including travel, diaries, office management, and team cover.

- Strong organisational, administrative, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Experience supporting governance, compliance tracking, KPI reporting, and project coordination.
- Ability to challenge stakeholders and ensure actions are completed.
- High attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and business systems.
- Previous project, team support, administration, or PA experience.
