Are you ready to apply your engineering or science skills to some of the most complex safety challenges in the nuclear industry and play a vital role in protecting people, the environment, and national infrastructure? As a Graduate Nuclear Safety Case Engineer, you will support high-profile projects across the entire nuclear lifecycle - from new build and operations to decommissioning. You will help assess risks, develop safety justifications, and ensure compliance with the UK's rigorous regulatory standards.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and fault analyses
  • Support the development of safety case documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and regulators
  • Apply deterministic and probabilistic assessment techniques
  • Help define and justify safe, effective nuclear systems

Your work will directly influence the safety of critical nuclear operations. From concept design to remediation strategy, you will contribute to decisions that matter. We will support you through a structured development programme, technical mentorship, and a clear path to professional registration. You will join a collaborative environment that values curiosity, integrity, and bold thinking.

Whether you are passionate about risk analysis, system safety, or regulation, this is your chance to make a real impact in a vital and growing industry. We apply modern science in new and different ways; and help to develop new, cleaner, safer, or more efficient means of producing and harnessing nuclear energy to help combat climate change.
