About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Front-End Developer to join our progressive Informatics team. You will be working with a range of data capture, analysis and visualisation technologies to support our organisation’s objectives and client challenges. With exposure to an expanding range of market sectors, you will deliver dynamic, innovative solutions to internal and external clients.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Informatics, IT or a related field (2:1 minimum).
- Strong front-end development skills (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
- Experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular (React preferred).
- Expertise with web mapping libraries, such as ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, OpenLayers or Leaflet.
- Experience developing REST APIs and integrating geospatial services into front-end applications.
- Competence in server-side development using languages such as Python, Node.js, or .NET.
- Experience with version control (Git or equivalent).
- A strong background in the use of GIS software, ideally ESRI product suite.
- Experience in geospatial software and task automation withing FME and/or python.
- Strong experience with spatial databases, including ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases (SDE) and PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Understanding of GIS service architectures, including ESRI services (MapServer, FeatureServer, ImageServer) and OGC-compliant services (WMS, WFS, WMTS, WCS, Features API etc).
- Hands‑on experience developing within ArcGIS Enterprise Experience Builder.
- Familiarity with GeoServer, MapServer, or other equivalent open‑source GIS servers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Driven and motivated to succeed, with a high level of personal accountability.
