As part of the team, you will contribute to Sellafield Ltd.'s mission while ensuring communities, supply chains, and stakeholders benefit from meaningful social value outcomes.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Works Controller to support the safe and efficient delivery of construction packages at Sellafield. The role manages, controls, and oversees all electrical construction activities, coordinating with the TDA Construction Manager to ensure compliance with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate electrical construction activities within decommissioning projects.
- Oversee safety compliance and implement risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Act as a key liaison for safety and project management teams.
- Provide continuous improvement input and contribute to project reporting.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health & safety qualification.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge within a construction or engineering discipline.
- Experience supervising, coordinating, and delivering complex construction activities.
- Strong understanding of safety culture, regulatory compliance, and CDM requirements.
- Previous industrial experience in nuclear, defence, or similar high-hazard sectors.
