The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) is a strategic partnership, operating within the DNWP framework and delivering critical decommissioning work at Sellafield, including the UK’s most challenging Legacy Ponds facilities. As a key partner within DNWP, TDA contributes to Sellafield Ltd.’s mission while ensuring communities, supply chains, and stakeholders benefit from meaningful, measurable Social Value outcomes.

The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager to support the continued safe and efficient delivery of projects across the Sellafield site. The successful candidate will take a lead role in overseeing the Retrievals East River Project, ensuring all construction activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and executed in line with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and nuclear safety standards.

As a Construction Manager you will act as a key interface between project teams, contractors, and senior leadership, providing technical leadership, operational oversight, and governance throughout the project lifecycle. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, quality, cost control, and programme adherence, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standards expected within a nuclear environment.

As a Construction Manager you will already have:

  • Experience working on Construction Projects within highly regulated environment
  • IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent recognised health & safety qualification)
  • NVQ Level 7 in Construction Management (or equivalent)
  • CSCS Manager Health & Safety Test (Black Card)
  • Member of Professional body preferred (CIOB)
  • NEBOSH
  • Strong understanding of safety culture, regulatory compliance and CDM requirements
