Amentum is seeking a Civil Ports and Maritime Engineer to join our team, supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure across the UK Defence sector. This role offers a flexible, hybrid working model, combining office and remote working with occasional site visits across the UK.
As part of our UK Ports and Maritime capability, you will gain technical exposure to civil, structural, geotechnical, seismic, and maritime engineering, contributing to the delivery of complex, high-value defence programmes. Working closely with experienced engineers and project teams, you will play an active role in technical delivery while developing your knowledge and experience within a collaborative environment.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- A minimum 2:1 MEng degree in Civil Engineering, with a good understanding of core engineering principles
- An interest in civil and structural design, with some familiarity with British Standards and Eurocodes through study or practical experience
- Enthusiasm for developing knowledge in maritime civil engineering
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in applying engineering theory in practical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams
- An organised and motivated approach, with the ability to manage tasks and support project delivery
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous learning, alongside a willingness to contribute and develop professionally
