About the opportunity: Devonport Royal Dockyard is part of the largest naval base in Western Europe, and is the only site in the UK licensed to undertake submarine deep maintenance. Amentum is proud to have supported the site for over two decades, providing a wide range of project, safety, engineering and technical services, and has been involved in the design and substantiation of a large proportion of the site’s existing facilities and marine structures. Today, we are a strategic supplier to the site, committed to providing value-adding support through long-term frameworks, and working collaboratively to deliver a significant programme of infrastructure upgrades, which will underpin the UK’s strategic defence capability for decades to come. - Inter-discipline project planning, delivery and financial performance.
- Provision of technical quality and excellence of project deliverables.
- Providing technical and professional guidance, support and development of more junior engineers and technicians.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
- Proven ability to manage projects and preparation of project deliverables, including managing quality, budget, programme and resources.
- Good understanding of structural theory, with proven problem solving ability.
- Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer or working towards this where we can support.
