Overview
Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar. Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer. Strong all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes. Background engineering experience with a record of successful delivery. Experience of working within a regulated and quality‑assured system.

Role overview
Due to continued growth we are seeking Principal Civil/Structural Engineers to join our team. These positions support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK – Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieve safety, functional and business requirements.
- Deliver civil and structural engineering design, including reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures and specialized Nuclear facilities.
- Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
- Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.).
Requirements / Qualifications
Supporting qualifications: MEng in Civil Engineering (accredited) with Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer status or equivalent. Proven design experience to international standards and Eurocodes. Experience in regulated and quality‑assured environments.
