Hinkley Point C (HPC) is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years. HPC's two EPR reactors will be capable of generating 3.26GW of secure, low carbon electricity for 60 years, enough electricity to power around 6 million homes. Amentum are currently recruiting a Mechanical Erection Supervisor who will report directly to the Construction Manager. Key responsibilities will be:
- Supervision of subcontractor personnel
- Execution of the piping erection strategy
- Execution of mandatory and conformity tests
- Clearance of allocated punch items
- Verification of correct and timely preparation of SWCF by subcontractors
- Quality and EHS implementation
- Support D2E initiatives (Dedication to Excellence)
- Implementation of the Deviation Program and Client Solutions directives
- Reporting and Return of Experience (REX)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in a technical discipline
- Experience in site construction execution and subcontractor management
- General knowledge of power plant systems and Mechanical discipline
