Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Electrician’s Mate to assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This role is Temporary - Weekly paid - Fully on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with installing wiring, lighting, and electrical systems.
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Prepare and clean work areas before and after installations.
- Cut, bend, and install conduit as directed.
- Help with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Follow health and safety regulations on-site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising electrician.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Previous experience in a construction or electrical environment is desirable.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- CSCS card or equivalent.
- Driving license.
