About the Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Document Controller, on the Hinkley Point C project. The role of the Document Controller will report to the Quality Manager and support the site quality and construction team. The Document Controller is responsible for the management, control, and assurance of project and operational documentation within a regulated nuclear environment. This role ensures that all documentation is accurate, traceable, compliant with nuclear safety and security standards, and available to project teams, regulators, and stakeholders in line with strict quality and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expediting and coordinating information in line with demanding programmes.
  • Ensuring all documentation is managed in compliance with processes, policies and procedures.
  • Provide support with regards to document numbering, revisions and the application of metadata.
  • Receive, issue and control project documentation.
  • Check compliance and quality of documents.
  • Attend project meetings to provide support and address any issues to ensure the effective flow of documentation.
  • Provide Data Management System training where necessary.
  • Liaise and provide support to supply chain.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure the information being processed complies with their requirements for handover.
  • Update project documentation trackers.
  • Maintain Projects filing (ProjectWise/Teamcenter).
  • Provide support to Document Control Manager.

  • ISO 9001 Awareness (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of various Electronic Data Management Systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience as a Document Controller within a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience with document control processes.
  • Teamcenter experience (desired).
  • ProjectWise experience (desired).
