Amentum are currently recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer who will provide engineering insight on building-specific issues and coordinate with the building civil engineer to ensure all necessary information for detailing is collected.
Responsibilities:
- Reinforced concrete design and RC detailing of complex reinforced concrete structures with ability to use ETC-C and Eurocodes.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to design codes and standards like Eurocodes and BS code BS 8666.
- Knowledge about Construction Design and Management regulations 2015.
- Experience in detailing.
- Knowledge on 3D modeling using Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Revit.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and Revit Family Creations (Added Advantage).
- Civil engineering design office experience, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial reinforced concrete structures.
- Experience in the nuclear sector would be advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in civil engineering.
