Lead CS&A Engineer in Aston-on-Trent

As a Lead CS&A Engineer your responsibilities could involve:

• Leading a team of CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements.
• Key role holder within the Engineering team on the project.
• Delivery of the civil, structural, and architectural design.
• Delivery of construction information.
• Managing the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Understanding of the commercial implications of products, scope and packages.
• Delivery of substantiation and other approvals.
• Risk identification with proposed resolution / mitigation.
• Production of schedules and identification of key milestones.
• Developing deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, BIM etc.).

Qualifications:

• Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) subject – MEng (preferred).
• Appropriate Engineering or Scientific Institution Membership – Chartered Engineer / qualified Architect / Architectural Technologist.
• Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery including recent positions influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience within the previous 10 years working in roles where knowledge of engineering was a key attribute.
• Experience of working within a regulated and quality-assured system (preferably nuclear) where professional judgement is the key attribute.
