Responsibilities

  • Inter‑discipline project planning, delivery and financial performance
  • Provision of technical quality and excellence of project deliverables
  • Providing technical and professional guidance, support and development of more junior engineers and technicians
  • Adherence and contribution to business and quality management systems
  • Operational and design safety and development of a good safety culture
  • Designing and maintaining reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures and specialized submarine facilities

Qualifications

  • Successful candidates must achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance, including being a UK national
  • Good all‑round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes
  • Proven ability to manage projects and prepare project deliverables, including managing quality, budget, programme and resources
  • Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or a similar Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer qualification
