Overview
In this role you will support Sizewell C project quality across the full lifecycle, ensuring QA/QC adherence throughout design, procurement, manufacture, construction, testing and commissioning. You will work within the PDO Quality Team to develop quality arrangements, create and maintain PQCPs and quality documentation, and monitor performance against the Quality Execution Plan. You will also shape supplier quality requirements in ITT materials and help enforce robust quality management across the supply chain. Responsibilities
- Support development of QA/QC arrangements for SZC deployment
- Prepare and maintain Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs) for contracts/projects
- Produce and maintain quality documentation (procedures, specifications)
- Support implementation and monitoring of the Quality Execution Plan
- Develop and review supplier quality requirements within ITT documentation
- Assist in applying quality management processes across the supply chain
- Report on quality performance to the Quality Management Lead (QML)
- Collaborate with project teams and supply chain to implement practical quality solutions
Key requirements
- Experience in project delivery, preferably in the nuclear power sector, with focus on project quality
- Solid understanding of QA/QC in large, contract-led engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning
- Understanding of quality management best practices for deployment by large organizations
- Proficiency with IT systems and digital tools
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 19443, IAEA GSR-2 and related standards
- Strong communication skills for presenting to varied audiences
- Ability to implement practical solutions and welcome input from others
- Experience interfacing with project teams and supply chains
- Data analysis, reporting and making recommendations
