We are seeking a Senior Planner to support the PMO function within our Energy Division, delivering schedule and planning management expertise to the Client PMO & Programme teams.

About The Opportunity

Our Energy Division is leading positive change and shaping the future of clean energy. Operating throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are expanding our team on a variety of clean energy projects ranging in technologies and stages of development. We are looking for talented individuals excited about nuclear projects and committed to Net Zero and Energy Security. In both client‑facing and internal roles, we deliver major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle, driving safe, high‑quality, and timely solutions through innovative and collaborative work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate schedule workshops and reviews with project stakeholders
  • Liaise with project managers to develop, manage, and maintain the integrated schedule
  • Produce periodic schedule reports to inform senior leadership
  • Ensure suitable management and maintenance of supply chain schedules is applied
  • Escalate schedule issues and concerns that may require senior level management or key stakeholder engagement for resolution or mitigation
  • Actively encourage and embed a schedule management culture by providing guidance to improve competency across the project
  • Collaborate with other project controls functions to ensure alignment is maintained
  • Maintain alignment of all project stakeholders with best practice guidelines and recommend continuous process improvements as required

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Knowledge of project planning principles and techniques with experience on major infrastructure projects, ideally within a nuclear construction environment
  • Ability to time‑manage self and organize work priorities
  • Ability to create a schedule from first principles
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6
  • High‑level MS Project and Excel experience
  • Mentoring and/or coaching experience
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative and take responsibility for problems within one’s own capability
  • Result‑focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines
  • Logical thinking, highly organised with attention to detail, high level of analytical and numerate skills
  • Will be required to travel to project locations in Europe
