Role Description The Chief Technology Officer, Cloud9 (CTO) is a highly strategic and technical leader responsible for defining and executing the technology vision, product architecture, engineering strategy, security framework, and innovation roadmap for Cloud9 Trader Voice.
Cloud9 Trader Voice is Symphony’s cloud-native, full-featured turret replacement that delivers secure, resilient voice and collaboration solutions for the global trading community connecting 20k users across 900 firms.
This critical leadership role leads a global team of highly skilled employees and is accountable for building and scaling a world‑class technology organization that delivers secure, resilient, low‑latency, and highly available voice and collaboration solutions for financial markets participants.
The CTO will align technology investments with commercial goals, product roadmap, regulatory requirements, and customer needs, acting as a bridge between technical execution, commercial strategy and clients.
Serving as a key member of the operating leadership team, the CTO will be a trusted advisor to Symphony’s CEO, COO, CIO, and executive team on technology strategy, cyber risk, infrastructure resilience, and investment planning.
