A Graduate Health and Safety Advisor supports the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) systems within an organisation. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates looking to develop practical experience in workplace safety, risk management, and compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Support
- Assist in implementing company health and safety policies and procedures
- Support compliance with relevant legislation (e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act)
- Promote a positive health and safety culture across the organisation
- Risk Assessment & Inspections
- Help carry out risk assessments and identify potential hazards
- Participate in site inspections and safety audits
- Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions
- Incident Reporting & Investigation
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses
- Help prepare reports and identify root causes
- Support implementation of preventative measures
- Training & Communication
- Support delivery of safety inductions and toolbox talks
- Assist in developing safety awareness campaigns
- Communicate safety information to employees and contractors
- Documentation & Compliance

- NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable or willingness to obtain)
- IT skills (Microsoft Office, reporting tools)
