Based in: City of London, Shoreditch
Hybrid, 3 days per week in office required, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday

Role Overview
The Product Owner will be responsible for managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and ensuring successful delivery of platform features and integrations. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and operator stakeholders to ensure enhancements meet regulatory standards, deliver value, and improve user experience.
This is a hands‑on delivery role, ideal for someone with strong Agile experience, technical literacy in integrations, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned product initiatives from discovery through launch, ensuring delivery against roadmap and business goals.
- Act as the accountable owner for your product vertical, reporting into the Lead Product Manager.
- Backlog & Delivery Management
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing operator requirements, compliance needs, and platform scalability.
- Write detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive delivery in partnership with Agile Scrum teams (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
- Collaborate with operators, internal teams, and third‑party partners (payments, KYC, casino suppliers, CRM).
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable development work.
- Act as the primary contact for your product area, providing clarity and managing expectations.
- Platform Enhancements & Integrations
- Deliver platform enhancements across your assigned platform areas e.g. payments, sportsbook features, casino integrations, and responsible gaming tools.
- Lead technical integrations with providers in your assigned platform areas (e.g., payments, geolocation, CRM, casino content).
- Ensure features and integrations are regulatory‑compliant and optimized for operator and player needs.
- Product Discovery & User Stories Creation
- Run workshops to validate operator needs and define feature requirements.
- Produce user flows, stories, and acceptance criteria that guide engineering and design.
- Work closely with development teams in a Scrum environment to ensure delivery alignment.
- Track sprint progress, manage priorities, and remove blockers.
- Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor KPIs and player/operator feedback to drive continuous optimization.
- Proactively identify UX, compliance, or operational gaps and propose solutions.
- Pro‑active and Self Starter
- Take initiative to resolve ambiguities, drive solutions, and keep delivery on track.
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑jurisdiction environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a technology‑driven environment.
- Strong experience with backlog management, Agile Scrum delivery, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Ability to define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product outcomes.
- Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and back‑office systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, self‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- Sportsbook & iGaming industry experience (Sportsbook, Casino, Poker, Bingo, Lottery).
- Hands‑on knowledge of iGaming platform operations and multi‑jurisdiction compliance.
- Experience in B2B2C white‑label platforms and client‑facing product roles.
