    • Ensure high availability and performance of core platform services and databases
    • Handle infrastructure requests and support development teams with platform needs
    • Participate in production incident response and resolution
  • Platform Development & Automation
    • Build platform services that enable development team self-service for common operations
    • Create automation scripts and tooling to improve operational efficiency
    • Implement and improve GitOps workflows using Flux for infrastructure management
    • Develop Terraform modules and AWS infrastructure as code patterns
    • Design and build observability dashboards and alerting systems
    • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective platform solutions
    • Document operational processes and create platform runbooks
    • Establish platform standards and best practices for service deployment
    • Contribute to evolving our platform capabilities and operational maturity

Required Skills & Experience

    • 3+ years in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps roles
    • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC)
    • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
    • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, logging systems)
    • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and tool development
    • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Critical Skills & Mindset
    • Experience balancing production operations with strategic platform development
    • Ability to work effectively in scaling environments while driving continuous improvement
    • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with development teams
    • Problem-solving mindset focused on building sustainable platform solutions
    • Willingness to tackle both operational responsibilities and long-term platform building

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with GitOps implementations (FluxCD, ArgoCD)
  • Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD) or AWS certifications
  • Knowledge of gaming/betting platform architecture and requirements
  • Experience with service mesh implementations (Istio, Linkerd)
  • Background in platform engineering or internal developer platform initiatives

What You’ll Work With

  • Infrastructure: AWS EKS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, FluxCD GitOps
  • Observability: Grafana with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo
  • Deployment: Docker containers, Helm charts, automated release pipelines
  • Platform Services: ExternalSecrets, ALB ingress controllers, service mesh
  • Development Environment: Java Spring Boot and React applications requiring production stability
