Role Overview

We are searching for a candidate to support our Project Managers team to deliver projects as part of our Delivery team, based in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to help manage the delivery of new customer products and/or customer roadmaps. Reporting to the Head of Project Management the candidate will work with an agile development team comprising a Technical Product Manager, Product team, Java developers, Client developers and Testers. You will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities, both internal and external. You will be expected to work with all aspects of the business (development teams, test teams, service desk and trading) on a wide range of technical projects.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious professional to join our growing, high-performing Project Management team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the willingness to manage complex projects and successfully deliver live customer products and strategic roadmaps. The role will leverage cutting edge technologies to state-of-the-art gaming technology via an automated platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be involved in the end-to-end software delivery life cycle, from initial engagement to release for all requirements’ scoping, refinement, planning, estimation and delivery.
  • Help manage and resolve all risks/issues potentially impacting the project delivery.
  • Proactively interact with all levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally, identifying problems, creating and implementing solutions.
  • Be responsible for undertaking any analysis requirements to support the refinement and estimation processes.
  • Gain in-depth understanding of and empathy for client processes and problems and prioritise between them.
  • Manage the customer delivery roadmap and the project management team relationship with the customer.
  • Work hands-on with Product, Designers, Engineers and the QA team to build and implement customer projects.
  • Act as point of contact with external Customer teams to ensure that tickets are prioritised according to customer needs.
  • Work closely with the Product team and to familiarise yourself with the Amelco products.
  • Deliver work in an agile team with shared ownership for the quality of the delivery.
  • Support the delivery of changes alongside the wider teams such as Test, DevOps, Architecture, Business Analysis and Application Support, including the possibility of occasional out-of-hours support of production deployments.
  • Ensure the team are aware of progress through various communication channels such as reporting and meetings.
  • Share knowledge on implemented solutions with the wider team.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

REQUIREMENTS

You will have:

  • Be familiar with the process for managing projects throughout the SDLC and Agile methodology.
  • Experience of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Online gaming experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Be a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience.
  • Ability to manage high volume of workload.
