Base pay range
Amegreen Education, established in 2023, operates three schools in West Berkshire: Northcroft Secondary (KS3-KS4), Haywards Farm Primary (KS2-KS3), and a new feeder school opening in January. Northcroft will soon transition into a KS4 and Post-16 Vocational School, ideally located in central Newbury, offering excellent links for community engagement and work experience.

About The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive School Senior Administrator to lead the day-to-day operations of our school office. This is a key role supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), staff, students, and families.
You will manage the admin team, oversee admissions, ensure compliance with GDPR and safeguarding, and support a wide range of school functions including events, communications, HR, and attendance.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading and supervising the school office team, ensuring a positive and efficient working environment.
- Managing front-line enquiries and ensuring professional visitor handling with safeguarding checks.
- Coordinating admissions, student inductions, and medical records.
- Maintaining accurate pupil data across Arbor, CPOMS, and B Squared.
- Organising school events, trips, photographs, and flu vaccinations.
- Supporting SLT with policy updates, statutory data submissions, and general admin tasks.
- Managing school communications, website updates, and social media accounts.
- Monitoring attendance, producing reports, and liaising with the Local Authority.
- Supporting HR functions including staff inductions, training compliance, and supply cover.
- Attending Trust forums and sharing best practice across schools.
Essential Requirements
- GCSEs (Grade 4 or above) in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Experience managing a busy office and supervising staff.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with parents, visitors, and children.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school systems (e.g. Arbor, CPOMS).
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
