Amegreen Children\’s Services specialises in therapeutic residential children\’s care. We currently have a community of beautiful homes set in rural West Berkshire where we offer a warm welcome to vulnerable children aged 5 years old to 18 years old. We\’re looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Officer to lead audits, support inspections, and ensure our services meet the highest standards across residential homes, schools, and alternate provisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits, inspections, and quality checks across all Amegreen services
- Support pre-registration processes, staff inductions, and recruitment
- Monitor compliance with regulations and support improvement plans
- Provide guidance on ClearCare systems and health & safety standards
- Conduct out-of-hours visits and staff surveys
- Collaborate with managers, training teams, and external agencies
- Report findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Substantial experience in children\’s residential care
- Strong knowledge of child development and trauma impact
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Understanding of Children\’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable:
- Management experience in residential care
- Other relevant specialist qualifications
