About the Role
Are you an experienced Duty Manager within Children's Residential Care who is looking for VISA sponsorship? At Amegreen, we are able to offer a limited number of sponsored positions and are looking for our next intake of fantastic, compassionate Duty Managers to commit to making a difference in children's lives.
At Amegreen Children's Services, we provide therapeutic residential care for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs in warm, nurturing homes across rural West Berkshire and Hampshire. Our teams use a trauma‐informed, PACE‐based approach to help young people feel safe, understood and able to grow, supported by strong clinical input and a warm, reflective staff culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise staff on shift, including a minimum of 2 sleep‐ins per week.
- Support the day‐to‐day running of the home and ensure safe staffing and robust cover.
- Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children and young people at all times.
- Deputise in the Registered Manager's absence, including during Ofsted inspections.
- Provide on‐call support and make confident decisions around casework, risk and safeguarding.
- Support staff development through supervision, coaching and appraisals.
- Build strong working relationships with families, professionals and partner agencies.
About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in children's residential care (minimum 3 years).
- Leadership or staff supervision experience (minimum 1 year).
- Strong understanding of child development and supporting young people with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, sleep‐ins and take part in the on‐call rota.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
- Be eligible to work in the UK without employer sponsorship.
