This is a full-time role for a Roofing & Cladding Designer based in the Leeds area. Responsibilities include designing innovative roofing and cladding systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards, and collaborating with project teams to meet client requirements. The role also involves working closely with materials, handling insulation and waterproofing solutions, and providing expert guidance on structural designs. Accuracy, attention to detail, and practical implementation of designs will be key to success in this position.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Roofing and Cladding design, including knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Experience with Carpentry and Insulation systems as part of building designs
- Understanding of construction safety, including expertise in Working at Height
- Familiarity with materials for waterproofing and their integration into construction projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and communicate design concepts effectively
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- A qualification in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred
