Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Roofing & Cladding Designer based in the Leeds area. Responsibilities include:
- Designing innovative roofing and cladding systems
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborating with project teams to meet client requirements
- Working closely with materials, handling insulation and waterproofing solutions
- Providing expert guidance on structural designs
Accuracy, attention to detail, and practical implementation of designs will be key to success in this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Roofing and Cladding design, including knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Experience with Carpentry and Insulation systems as part of building designs
- Understanding of construction safety, including expertise in Working at Height
- Familiarity with materials for waterproofing and their integration into construction projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and communicate design concepts effectively
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- A qualification in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred
