Requirements
Your Role as a Social Worker: As a social worker within our family assessment services you will be integral to providing accurate and objective advice and support to parents enabling families to thrive. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful, professional and respectful working relationships with the families in our centres, while leading the assessment process and completing comprehensive assessments of parenting capacity. With a manageable caseload you will get to know your families well and be able to tailor your assessments to meet their needs and provide the best opportunities for success. With dedicated social work practice managers, you will have social work qualified line management, supervision and support. With access to legal advice and bespoke training and opportunities within the social work service we will provide you with the right environment to flourish and develop. Provide evidence-based, analytical and comprehensive parenting assessments that provide clear recommendations for permanency planning for children and their families.
Our Ideal Candidate should:
- Have Social Work Qualification.
- Be registered with Social Work England.
- Have a minimum 1 year’s post qualifying experience with children and families.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to work across a number of our family assessment centres.
- Have experience and capability in preparing high-quality parenting assessment reports for court.
- Be experienced in working with families to complete robust parenting assessments, being honest, objective and open with them.
